Wendy Murdoch clinic followup

Wendy's clinic September 27th at No Worries Farm was helpful to all participants and everyone wants her to return again. For some horse and rider combinations, she worked solely on the horse, for others just the rider, and for some, she worked on both. On some horses, she pulled, stretched, and bended, so that the horse can understand he can do what is asked of him. Her work with riders was about increasing body awareness so that the rider can properly influence the horse and allow him to move forward in a more relaxed, comfortable fashion. All participants were quite pleased with the results(horses especially), and are hoping we can get her back again.

Wendy Murdoch lecture:

Wendy's talk focused on body awareness, balance, and influencing your horse. Wendy had several volunteers sit on giant exercise balls and then asked them to shift heels, knees, and seatbones. It was amazing to see how when we thought we were influencing our horse one way, we were actually doing something else. Wendy was alot of fun, there was alot of laughter and joking, but more more importantly, we came away with some new ideas to improve our riding.
