At the awards program we will be taking several items to membership for approval, including the amount to allot for the hunter pace and clinicians. We are asking everyone attending to please bring a dish.

Congratulations to Gracie Schmitt and Vasy on the High Score Thoroughbred Award for 2011.
Pat opened the meeting at 6:30 PM with the news that Molly Armentrout has agreed to organize and run two or more of our CTs. This is a great help to the club and Pat has ask her to use a journal as she organizes to add this information to our CT manual for future reference.
Charles reminded us that to be awarded a scholarship you need to renew membership for 2012 and have volunteer hours completed for 2011 before you can become eligible for the award. We need to add this to the website and announce at the Christmas party.
In order to be eligible for year end dressage awards you must submit four test scores at the same level with at least one being a “C/3"at intro, training or first level.
The High Point Thoroughbred Award this year will be given by Judith Lamb.
Our HT award ribbons will be cobranded with Foxtale Farm and we will have a total of four divisions comprised of junior and senior divisions of intro rider and intro open. Pinnys will be purchased for the HT. Charles volunteered to make the numbers and the flags..
The board will be considering advertising in The Goochland Gazette, Herald Progress or the Horse Journal.
The last thing on the agenda was the contract between Foxtale farm and the CVACTA concerning Hts. Pat and Charles are currently reviewing the provisions of the contract and it will be completed by Jan 1st.
The meeting ended at 8:10PM.
